ELKEN GREEN WALL

Before moving into a large new office space in Subang Jaya, the project design team approached us with the idea of creating green spaces for open discussion corners within the office. The biggest challenge was having a sustainable living green space without any direct or indirect sunlight at all- a task we were ready to undertake with our GaiaWall plus USHIO indoor grow light solution. The scope included 2 green areas- one which housed an L-shaped living green wall, and another which had a shorter one tucked at the end of the visitors' corridor. Both areas were fitted with tiered seating right in front of the greenwalls, providing the client a space to have townhall sessions, discussion/activity corners or even a livestream background. 

With the green walls (and grow lights) now approaching their 5th year anniversary, team Belalang is proud to continue maintaining the indoor vertical garden plants there while providing routine checks on the overall GaiaWall system. Here's to ensuring the longevity of such thoughtful designs live on to the benefit of its daily users!
